Some of Crosby’s tasks include filling prescriptions, taking temperatures, observing surgeries, setting up fecals and reading results via microscope. Crosby states, “I love the fact that I am on the road to my dream job. Knowing that I am not just sitting around in a high school class that doesn’t help me with my future career goals brings me a lot of relief. Getting to make connections and learn direct skills is so beneficial. I love getting to watch surgeries and ask the vets questions, as well as working with clients. I love being a part of this program, it is the highlight of my Senior year!”
