Jessica Jara

Jessica Jara is a senior at LCCA with a graduation date of May 2019!  She approached the faculty at the beginning of the year about Work-Based Learning since she had 5 elective credits to complete for her targeted graduation date.

At the time, Jessica was already employed through Advantage Resources as a line operator with IMS Gear.  She signed on as a WBL student and has far surpassed our expectations.  Jessica has managed to maintain good grades in her academic studies while working an average of 40 hours a week at IMS Gear.

When making monthly visits to both IMS Gear and Advantage Resources, Jessica receives excellent reviews and IMS Gear is currently transitioning her from the temp agency to full-time employment with benefits!

Jessica, you are an AWESOME employee and we can’t wait to celebrate your graduation in May!
